Practice Policy
The practice is committed to sustaining and advancing good practice and transparency. I have professional Liability Insurance, up to date Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) Enhanced Checks and abide by the Child Protection Policy and proecedures.
As an individual member of the British Association of Counselling and Psycotherapy (BACP) I am bound by its Code of Ethics and Good Practice and I am subject to its complaints procedure.
My intention is to provide a safe environment, a place of agreed confidentiality, mutual trust and respect.
The focus is on the individual's expression of themselves through the use of talk, play, movement, music and sand trays.
Each client has the opportunity to be themselves in this environment, to relate in one-to-one or group relationship and so to promote personal growth and self-awareness
The outcome of this process can be the empowerment of the client's unique potential for growth. Each outcome is as unique as the individual.
